SEBI Recruitment 2018, Apply for 120 Officer (Assistant Manager) Jobs

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has published a recruitment notification to fill 120 vacancies of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) in General Stream, Legal Stream, Information Technology Stream and Engineering Stream. Online registration for the posts will start from 15 September 2018.

Scale of Pay : Rs. 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 (17 years). Other benefits will be as admissible to an Officer in Grade A in SEBI.

Age Limit (31.08.2018) : Upper age limit is 30 years for all streams. Candidate must have been born on or after 01 September 1988. Relaxation in upper age limit will be given as per Govt. rules.

Education Qualification

1) General: Master’s Degree in any discipline/ Bachelor’s Degree in Law/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR Chartered Accountant OR Company Secretary OR Chartered Financial Analyst OR Cost & Work Accountant.     

2) Legal: Candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

3) Information Technology:  Candidate should have Graduate Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Information Technology/ Computer Science) OR Master Degree in Computers Application OR Candidate should have completed Graduation in any discipline with Post Graduate qualification in Computers/ Information Technology.

4) Civil Engineering: Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

5) Electrical Engineering: Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Selection Process : Selection will be made through On-Line Examination and Interview. Online Examination will consist of two phases; Phase I (On-Line Examination - Multiple choice Questions on General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning and Awareness of Securities Market) and Phase-II. Candidates shortlisted in Phase I will appear for Phase II. After Phase II Exam, shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview.

Probation: Applicants, who will select for Officers Grade ‘A’, will undergo probation of two years.

Application Fee : Unreserved and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants applying for the vacancy, have to pay Rs. 850/- as application fee cum intimation charges, while SC/ ST/ PwD candidates will pay only intimation charges of Rs.100/-. Fee should be pay online at the time of application submission and for this purpose Debit Cards, Credit cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets can be used.
